Beginning as a web-comic in 2018 and becoming a short film in 2025, With the Wave is a long term passion project centering around queer relationships, identity, and also mermaids.
Created over the course of one semester with voice work from friends, peers, and mentors.

A short proof of concept for animated pilot in which a lemon girl, named Leola, returns to her hometown after the sudden disappearance of her childhood friend Honey.
Based on Childhood drawings of fruit-people this story tackles growing up and finding stability with mental health.
